Aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Minimize freezing and thawing.
tested application :
Peptide ELISA (EIA)
app notes :
Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 48kDa band in Mouse Fetal Brain lysates and in lysates of NIH3T3 after 1ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 67.4kDa according to Human NP_004407.2 and of 68.2kDa according to Mouse NP_032078.2. The 48kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:8000.
other info1 :
Epitope: Internal Region (Near N Terminus). Immunogen: Peptide with sequence CHHIENVLKEDAR, from the internal region (near N Terminus) of the protein sequence according to NP_004407.2.

ncbi summary :
Studies in Drosophila have identified this gene as encoding a positive regulator of the Notch-signaling pathway. The human gene encodes a protein of unknown function; however, it may play a role in basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor activity. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
