concentration :
100ug specific antibody in 200ul
storage stability :
Aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Minimize freezing and thawing.
tested application :
Peptide ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
app notes :
Immunohistochemistry: In paraffin embedded Human Placenta shows nuclear staining in trophoblasts. Recommended concentration, 2.5-3.8ug/ml. Western Blot: Approx 38kDa band observed in lysates of Human Skin, Testis and Thyroid gland (calculated size of 33.3kDa according to NP_079058.1). The observed molecular weight corresponds to findings with antibodies from other sources. The 38kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Recommended concentration 0.1-0.3ug/ml. Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000.
other info1 :
Epitope: C Terminus. Immunogen: Peptide with sequence C-QRPQLSKVKRKKPR, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_079058.1.

ncbi summary :
Double-strand breaks in DNA result from genotoxic stresses and are among the most damaging of DNA lesions. This gene encodes a DNA repair factor essential for the nonhomologous end-joining pathway, which preferentially mediates repair of double-stranded breaks. Mutations in this gene cause different kinds of severe combined immunodeficiency disorders. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
