Western Blot: Approx 20kDa band observed in lysates of Human Tonsil lysate (calculated MW of 21.4kDa according to NP_002863.1). Recommended concentration: 0.1-1ug/ml. Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.

The encoded protein localizes to the plasma membrane, where it regulates diverse processes, such as secretion, phagocytosis, and cell polarization. Activity of this protein is also involved in the generation of reactive oxygen species. Mutations in this gene are associated with neutrophil immunodeficiency syndrome.
