Reacts with solid phase ACTH either captured as part of a sandwich or adsorbed as a solid phase antigen and as such is suitable for serum assay development. Also reactive on formalin-fixed paraffin wax embedded tissue and is therefore suitable for immunocytochemistry. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
