other info1 :
Samples: Goat serum, plasma or Cell Culture Supernatant and organizations in the natural and recombinant BSA concentration. Assay Type: Sandwich. Detection Range: 200 ug/ml-3.12 ug/ml
products description :
Principle of the Assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is Goat BSA monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

uniprot summary :
albumin: Serum albumin, the main protein of plasma, has a good binding capacity for water, Ca(2+), Na(+), K(+), fatty acids, hormones, bilirubin and drugs. Its main function is the regulation of the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood. Major zinc transporter in plasma, typically binds about 80% of all plasma zinc. Protein type: Secreted; Secreted, signal peptide; Carrier. Cellular Component: protein complex; cytoplasm; extracellular region; nucleus. Molecular Function: toxin binding; DNA binding; chaperone binding; metal ion binding; drug binding; oxygen binding; fatty acid binding; pyridoxal phosphate binding. Biological Process: retinal homeostasis; transport; maintenance of mitochondrion localization; hemolysis by symbiont of host red blood cells; cellular response to starvation; negative regulation of apoptosis
