other info2 :
Intra-assay Precision: ? 8%. Inter-assay Precision: ? 12%
products description :
Princple of the assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is human PLC monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

ncbi summary :
The protein encoded by this gene is a transmembrane signaling enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of 1-phosphatidyl-1D-myo-inositol 4,5-bisphosphate to 1D-myo-inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) and diacylglycerol (DAG) using calcium as a cofactor. IP3 and DAG are second messenger molecules important for transmitting signals from growth factor receptors and immune system receptors across the cell membrane. Mutations in this gene have been found in autoinflammation, antibody deficiency, and immune dysregulation syndrome and familial cold autoinflammatory syndrome 3. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2014]
uniprot summary :
PLCG2: a calcium dependent phosphatidylinositol-specific phospholipase C. The activated enzyme produces the second messenger molecules diacylglycerol and inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate. It is a crucial enzyme in transmembrane signaling. Phosphorylated and activated by tyrosine kinases in response to signaling through a variety of growth factor receptors and immune system receptors. Protein type: EC 3.1.4.11; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Phospholipase; Carbohydrate Metabolism - inositol phosphate. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 16q24.1. Cellular Component: plasma membrane; cytosol. Molecular Function: signal transducer activity; protein binding; phosphoinositide phospholipase C activity; phospholipase C activity. Biological Process: platelet activation; inositol phosphate metabolic process; Wnt receptor signaling pathway; phospholipid catabolic process; calcium-mediated signaling; response to lipopolysaccharide; T cell receptor signaling pathway; B cell receptor signaling pathway; activation of store-operated calcium channel activity; regulation of gene expression; inositol trisphosphate biosynthetic process; release of sequestered calcium ion into cytosol; B cell differentiation; negative regulation of programmed cell death; phosphatidylinositol biosynthetic process; innate immune response; follicular B cell differentiation; blood coagulation. Disease: Autoinflammation, Antibody Deficiency, And Immune Dysregulation, Plcg2-associated; Familial Cold Autoinflammatory Syndrome 3
