products description :
Principle of the assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is Guinea pig TAFI monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

uniprot summary :
CPB2: Cleaves C-terminal arginine or lysine residues from biologically active peptides such as kinins or anaphylatoxins in the circulation thereby regulating their activities. Down- regulates fibrinolysis by removing C-terminal lysine residues from fibrin that has already been partially degraded by plasmin. Belongs to the peptidase M14 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. Protein type: Protease; Secreted, signal peptide; Secreted; EC 3.4.17.20. Cellular Component: extracellular space; extracellular region. Molecular Function: peptidase activity; metallopeptidase activity; carboxypeptidase activity; hydrolase activity; zinc ion binding; metal ion binding; metallocarboxypeptidase activity. Biological Process: fibrinolysis; negative regulation of fibrinolysis; response to heat; hemostasis; proteolysis; blood coagulation
