products description :
Principle of the assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is Porcine HS monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

ncbi summary :
Heparan sulfate biosynthetic enzymes are key components in generating a myriad of distinct heparan sulfate fine structures that carry out multiple biologic activities. The enzyme encoded by this gene is a member of the heparan sulfate biosynthetic enzyme family. It possesses both heparan sulfate glucosaminyl 3-O-sulfotransferase activity, anticoagulant heparan sulfate conversion activity, and is a rate limiting enzyme for synthesis of anticoagulant heparan. This enzyme is an intraluminal Golgi resident protein. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
uniprot summary :
HS3ST1: Sulfotransferase that utilizes 3 -phospho-5 -adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) to catalyze the transfer of a sulfo group to position 3 of glucosamine residues in heparan. Catalyzes the rate limiting step in the biosynthesis of heparan sulfate (HSact). This modification is a crucial step in the biosynthesis of anticoagulant heparan sulfate as it completes the structure of the antithrombin pentasaccharide binding site. Belongs to the sulfotransferase 1 family. Protein type: EC 2.8.2.23; Transferase; Glycan Metabolism - heparan sulfate biosynthesis. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 4p16. Cellular Component: Golgi lumen; integral to membrane. Molecular Function: sulfotransferase activity; heparin-glucosamine 3-O-sulfotransferase activity. Biological Process: glycosaminoglycan biosynthetic process; glycosaminoglycan metabolic process; carbohydrate metabolic process; pathogenesis
