products description :
Background/Introduction: ATP synthase (EC 3.6.3.14) is an important enzyme that creates the energy storage molecule adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is the most commonly used "energy currency" of cells for most organisms. It is formed from adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and inorganic phosphate (Pi), and needs energy for its formation. The assay is used to determine Cytochrome C oxidase activity. The enzyme catalysed reaction products Pi can react with dry reagent, and can be measured at a colorimetric readout at 660 nm.

uniprot summary :
B2M: Component of the class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC). Involved in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system. Heterodimer of an alpha chain and a beta chain. Beta-2- microglobulin is the beta-chain of major histocompatibility complex class I molecules. Polymers of beta 2-microglobulin can be found in tissues from patients on long-term hemodialysis. Belongs to the beta-2-microglobulin family. Protein type: Secreted; Secreted, signal peptide. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2 E5 2 60.55 cM. Cellular Component: cytoplasm; external side of plasma membrane; extracellular space; focal adhesion; Golgi apparatus; membrane; plasma membrane. Molecular Function: glycoprotein binding; identical protein binding; protein binding. Biological Process: antibacterial humoral response; antigen processing and presentation of endogenous peptide antigen via MHC class I; antigen processing and presentation of exogenous protein antigen via MHC class Ib, TAP-dependent; cellular defense response; defense response to Gram-negative bacterium; defense response to Gram-positive bacterium; ferric iron import; innate immune response; iron ion homeostasis; iron ion transport; positive regulation of protein binding; positive regulation of receptor-mediated endocytosis; positive regulation of T cell cytokine production; positive regulation of T cell mediated cytotoxicity; protein refolding; regulation of erythrocyte differentiation; response to molecule of bacterial origin; T cell differentiation in the thymus
