Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, mid range and high level Rat HbA1c were tested on 3 different plates, 20 replicates in each plate.
products description :
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of Rat HbA1c concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat HbA1c. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat HbA1c and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat HbA1c, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat HbA1c. You can calculate the concentration of Rat HbA1c in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

ncbi summary :
This gene product belongs to the histone deacetylase family. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes, and are responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues at the N-terminal regions of core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). This protein forms transcriptional repressor complexes by associating with many different proteins, including YY1, a mammalian zinc-finger transcription factor. Thus, it plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. uniprot summary :
HDAC2: a transcriptional regulator of the histone deacetylase family, subfamily 1. Responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Histone deacetylation plays a role in epigenetic repression and transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes. Protein type: EC 3.5.1.98; Deacetylase; Transcription, coactivator/corepressor; Nuclear receptor co-regulator.
