uniprot entry name :
PD1L1_HUMAN
specificity :
This item specifically recognises an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of human CD274, otherwise known as PD-L1, a cell surface glycoprotein and member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules, constitutively expressed on macrophages and dendritic cells, and inducible on activated T-cells, B-cells, endothelial cells and epithelial cells, in response to interferons. CD274 acts as both a co-stimulatory and co-inhibitory molecule, co-stimulating early T cell priming, differentiation and IL-10 production, and inhibiting T cell proliferation and TCR-mediated activation of IL-2 production, through interaction with the receptor CD279/PD-1. Studies have linked the deregulation of CD274 function with many autoimmune diseases and cancers, as well as chronic viral and intracellular bacterial infection.
form :
Purified. Purified IgG - liquid
concentration :
IgG concentration 0.5mg/ml
storage stability :
Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. uniprot summary :
CD274: Involved in the costimulatory signal, essential for T- cell proliferation and production of IL10 and IFNG, in an IL2- dependent and a PDCD1-independent manner. Interaction with PDCD1 inhibits T-cell proliferation and cytokine production. Belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. BTN/MOG family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. Protein type: Membrane protein, integral. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 9p24. Cellular Component: plasma membrane; integral to membrane; endomembrane system; external side of plasma membrane. Molecular Function: protein binding. Biological Process: regulation of activated T cell proliferation; cell surface receptor linked signal transduction; negative regulation of interleukin-10 production; negative regulation of interferon-gamma production; negative regulation of activated T cell proliferation; T cell costimulation; immune response; positive regulation of T cell proliferation; signal transduction
