form :
Purified. Purified IgG - lyophilised
concentration :
IgG concentration 1.0 mg/ml after reconstitution
storage stability :
Prior to reconstitution store at 4 degree C. After reconstitution store at -20 degree C. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf Life: 12 months from date of reconstitution.
tested application :
ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB)
app notes :
ELISA: This purified human CCL3L1 antibody may be used in an indirect ELISA or as a capture reagent in a sandwich ELISA with our biotinylated human CCL3L1 antibody as the detection antibody. ELISA: Minimum Dilution: 0.5; Maximum Dilution: 2.0ug/ml. Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 0.1; Maximum Dilution: 0.2ug/ml
other info1 :
Reconstitution: Reconstitute with 0.1ml distilled water Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. MyBioSource recommends that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended.
other info2 :
Immunogen: Recombinant human CCL3L1 . Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline. Antiserum Preparation: Antiserum to human CCL3L1 were raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography. Target Species: Human
products description :
Goat anti human CCL3L1 polyclonal antibody specifically recognizes human CCL3L1, otherwise known as LD78beta, a member of the CC chemokine family closely related to MIP-1alpha (LD78alpha/CCL3), which acts as a chemoattractant for lymphocytes and monocytes, and is a potent inhibitor of HIV entry, thorough binding to the HIV co-receptor CCR5.

ncbi summary :
This gene is one of several cytokine genes that are clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins that function in inflammatory and immunoregulatory processes. The protein encoded by this gene binds to several chemokine receptors, including chemokine binding protein 2 and chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 5 (CCR5). CCR5 is a co-receptor for HIV, and binding of this protein to CCR5 inhibits HIV entry. The copy number of this gene varies among individuals, where most individuals have one to six copies, and a minority of individuals have zero or more than six copies. There are conflicting reports about copy number variation of this gene and its correlation to disease susceptibility.[provided by RefSeq, Apr 2014]
uniprot summary :
CCL3L1: Chemotactic for lymphocytes and monocytes. Is a ligand for CCR1, CCR3 and CCR5. Is an inhibitor of HIV-1-infection. The processed form LD78-beta(3-70) shows a 20-fold to 30-fold higher chemotactic activity and is a very potent inhibitor of HIV-1- infection. LD78-beta(3-70) is also a ligand for CCR1, CCR3 and CCR5. Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family. Protein type: Secreted, signal peptide; Chemokine; Secreted; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 17q21.1. Cellular Component: extracellular space; extracellular region. Molecular Function: chemokine activity. Biological Process: negative regulation of cell proliferation; immune response; inflammatory response. Disease: Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1, Susceptibility To
