This item recognises all isoforms of the 14-3-3 protein family. The 14-3-3 family consists of 30kD proteins that are involved in multiple cellular processes including protein kinase signalling pathways, regulation of cell cycle progression, transcription and intracellular trafficking. Protein interactions with 14-3-3 show distinct preferences for its different isoforms and are regulated by phosphorylation of both 14-3-3 and the bound protein.
form :
Serum. Serum - liquid
storage stability :
Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf Life: 18 months from date of despatch.
tested application :
Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistology Paraffin, Western Blot (WB)
app notes :
Western Blot: This item detects a band of approximately 30kDa in HEK293 cell lysates. Immunohistology: This product does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 1/2000
other info1 :
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)
other info2 :
Immunogen: Mixture of synthetic peptides corresponding to all isoforms of sheep 14-3-3. Antiserum Preparation: Antisera to sheep 14-3-3 protein were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbit with highly purified antigen. Target Species: Sheep
