specificity :
This item recognises Bcl-10 a CARD (caspase recruitment domain) containing protein involved in apoptosis. Bcl-10 is expressed in many human tissues and cell lines. Bcl-10 has been reported to exhibit mutations in MALT lymphomas and in lymphomas of B and T cell lineage.
form :
Purified. Purified IgG - liquid
concentration :
IgG concentration 0.5 mg/ml
storage stability :
Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the protein. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf Life: 18 months from date of despatch.
tested application :
Western Blot (WB)
app notes :
Western Blotting: Maximum Dilution: 1/500

Perservative Stabilisers: 0.02% Sodium Azide
other info2 :
Immunogen: Peptide corresponding to amino acids 5 to 19 of human Bcl-10 (NT). Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline. Antiserum Preparation: Antisera to Bcl-10 (NT) were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbit with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography. Target Species: Human

ncbi summary :
This gene was identified by its translocation in a case of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma. The protein encoded by this gene contains a caspase recruitment domain (CARD), and has been shown to induce apoptosis and to activate NF-kappaB. This protein is reported to interact with other CARD domain containing proteins including CARD9, 10, 11 and 14, which are thought to function as upstream regulators in NF-kappaB signaling. This protein is found to form a complex with MALT1, a protein encoded by another gene known to be translocated in MALT lymphoma. MALT1 and this protein are thought to synergize in the activation of NF-kappaB, and the deregulation of either of them may contribute to the same pathogenetic process that leads to the malignancy.
