No reaction is observed with the following organisms:Shigella boydii, sonnei, dysenteriae and flexneri; Serratia liquifaciens; Proteus vulgaris and rettgeri; Pseudomonas aeruginosa 1-9, 10-14 and 16-17; Enterobacter aerogenes; some Klebsiella and Salmonella types.This antibody reacts with isolates fixed by phenol, formalin and boiling.
