storage stability :
Store at 4 degree C or at -20 degree C if preferred. This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product is photosensitive and should be protected from light. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf Life: 18 months from date of despatch.
tested application :
Flow cytometry (FC/FACS)
app notes :
Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul. The Fc region of monoclonal antibodies may bind non-specifically to cells expressing low affinity Fc receptors. This may be reduced by using SeroBlock FcR. Flow Cytometry: Maximum Dilution: Neat

products description :
Rat anti Mouse CD26 antibody, clone H207-1082 recognizes mouse CD26, which is also known as thymocyte-activating molecule (THAM). Murine CD26 is a type II integral membrane dipeptidyl-peptidase that is expressed at the cell surface as a heterodimer, of approximately 220 kDa, and has a soluble form in the plasma. The CD26 molecule is a multifunctional glycoprotein that has ectopeptidase activity and is also reported to be involved in cell adhesion, signal transduction in T lymphocytes and HIV infection. CD26 is differentially expressed on developing thymocytes and is upregulated on activated T-cells but is not expressed on resting and thioglycollate stimulated macrophages. Expression of CD26 has also been reported on cells from a variety of non-haematopoietic tissues including liver, intestine and kidney.

uniprot summary :
DPP4: Cell surface glycoprotein receptor involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-cell receptor (TCR)-mediated T-cell activation. Acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation, by binding at least ADA, CAV1, IGF2R, and PTPRC. Its binding to CAV1 and CARD11 induces T-cell proliferation and NF- kappa-B activation in a T-cell receptor/CD3-dependent manner. Its interaction with ADA also regulates lymphocyte-epithelial cell adhesion. In association with FAP is involved in the pericellular proteolysis of the extracellular matrix (ECM), the migration and invasion of endothelial cells into the ECM. May be involved in the promotion of lymphatic endothelial cells adhesion, migration and tube formation. When overexpressed, enhanced cell proliferation, a process inhibited by GPC3. Acts also as a serine exopeptidase with a dipeptidyl peptidase activity that regulates various physiological processes by cleaving peptides in the circulation, including many chemokines, mitogenic growth factors, neuropeptides and peptide hormones. Removes N-terminal dipeptides sequentially from polypeptides having unsubstituted N-termini provided that the penultimate residue is proline. Belongs to the peptidase S9B family. DPPIV subfamily. Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Cell adhesion; Cell surface; EC 3.4.14.5; Protease. Cellular Component: Golgi apparatus; intercellular canaliculus; cell surface; focal adhesion; endoplasmic reticulum; lysosomal membrane; integral to membrane; extracellular region; cell projection; membrane; lamellipodium; endocytic vesicle; apical plasma membrane; plasma membrane; cell junction.
