other names :
[lipolysis-stimulated lipoprotein receptor isoform 4; Lipolysis-stimulated lipoprotein receptor; lipolysis-stimulated lipoprotein receptor; lipolysis stimulated lipoprotein receptor]
products gene name :
[LSR]
other gene names :
[LSR; LSR; ILDR3; LISCH7; LISCH]
form :
Freeze-dried powder
storage stability :
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 degree C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 degree C for 12 months. The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
tested application :
Positive Control, Immunogen, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB). (May be suitable for use in other assays to be determined by the end user.)

Accurate Molecular Mass: 23kDa as determined by SDS1PAGE reducing conditions.
other info2 :
Phenomenon explanation: The possible reasons that the actual band size differs from the predicted are as follows:. 1.Splice variants: Alternative splicing may create different sized proteins from the same gene. 2. Relative charge: The composition of amino acids may affects the charge of the protein. 3. Post1translational modification: Phosphorylation, glycosylation, methylation etc. 4. Post1translation cleavage: Many proteins are synthesized as pro1proteins, and then cleaved to give the active form. 5. Polymerization of the target protein: Dimerization, multimerization etc.

uniprot summary :
LISCH: Probable role in the clearance of triglyceride-rich lipoprotein from blood. Binds chylomicrons, LDL and VLDL in presence of free fatty acids and allows their subsequent uptake in the cells. Belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. LISCH7 family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Receptor, misc. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 19q13.12. Cellular Component: plasma membrane. Biological Process: liver development
