form :
Supplied as solution form in PBS, pH7.4, containing 0.02% NaN3, 50% glycerol.
storage stability :
Storage:. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 4ºC for frequent use. Aliquot and store at -20ºC for 24 months. Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
tested application :
Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP)
app notes :
Western blotting: 0.5-2ug/mL. Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/mL. Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mL. Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

uniprot summary :
OSMR: Associates with IL31RA to form the IL31 receptor. Binds IL31 to activate STAT3 and possibly STAT1 and STAT5. Capable of transducing OSM-specific signaling events. Defects in OSMR are the cause of amyloidosis primary localized cutaneous type 1 (PLCA1); also known as familial lichen amyloidosis or familial cutaneous lichen amyloidosis. PLCA1 is a hereditary primary amyloidosis characterized by localized cutaneous amyloid deposition. This condition usually presents with itching (especially on the lower legs) and visible changes of skin hyperpigmentation and thickening (lichenification) that may be exacerbated by chronic scratching and rubbing. The amyloid deposits probably reflect a combination of degenerate keratin filaments, serum amyloid P component, and deposition of immunoglobulins. Belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family. Type 2 subfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Receptor, cytokine. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 15 A1 15 3.3 cM. Cellular Component: apical plasma membrane; external side of plasma membrane; integral component of membrane; integral component of plasma membrane; membrane; oncostatin-M receptor complex. Molecular Function: cytokine binding; growth factor binding; hematopoietin/interferon-class (D200-domain) cytokine receptor activity; oncostatin-M receptor activity. Biological Process: cell surface receptor signaling pathway; oncostatin-M-mediated signaling pathway; positive regulation of cell proliferation; response to cytokine
