200ug/ml
storage stability :
Storage: Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store a t 4 degree C for frequent use. Aliquot and store a t -20 degree C for 12 months. Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
tested application :
Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB), IF, ELISA.
app notes :
Western blotting: 0.5-2ug/ml. Immunocytochemistry in formalin fixed cells: 5-20ug/ml. Immunohistochemistry in formalin fixed frozen section: 5-20ug/ml. Immunohistochemistry in paraffin section: 5-20ug/ml. Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay: 0.05-2ug/ml. Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

ncbi summary :
The protein encoded by this gene, a member of the peptidase S1 protein family, is found in azurophil granules of neutrophilic polymorphonuclear leukocytes. The encoded protease has a specificity similar to that of chymotrypsin C, and may participate in the killing and digestion of engulfed pathogens, and in connective tissue remodeling at sites of inflammation. In addition, the encoded protein is antimicrobial, with bacteriocidal activity against S. aureus and N. gonorrhoeae. Transcript variants utilizing alternative polyadenylation signals exist for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2014]
uniprot summary :
CTSG: Serine protease with trypsin- and chymotrypsin-like specificity. Cleaves complement C3. Has antibacterial activity against the Gram-negative bacterium P.aeruginosa, antibacterial activity is inhibited by LPS from P.aeruginosa, Z-Gly-Leu-Phe- CH2Cl and phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride. Belongs to the peptidase S1 family. Protein type: Protease; EC 3.4.21.20; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 14q11.2. Cellular Component: extracellular matrix; extracellular space; cell surface; extracellular region; plasma membrane; nucleus; secretory granule. Molecular Function: peptidase activity; heparin binding; serine-type endopeptidase activity. Biological Process: extracellular matrix disassembly; extracellular matrix organization and biogenesis; positive regulation of immune response; cellular protein metabolic process; response to lipopolysaccharide; protein processing; immune response; proteolysis; angiotensin maturation; defense response to fungus
