form :
Supplied as lyophilized form in 20mM Tris, 150mM NaCl, pH8.0, containing 1mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 0.01% sarcosyl, 5% trehalose, and preservative.
storage stability :
Storage: Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 Degree C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 Degree C for 12 months. Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the target protein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 Degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
tested application :
SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP) . (May be suitable for use in other assays to be determined by the end user.)

uniprot summary :
IFNGR1: Receptor for interferon gamma. Two receptors bind one interferon gamma dimer. Defects in IFNGR1 are a cause of mendelian susceptibility to mycobacterial disease (MSMD); also known as familial disseminated atypical mycobacterial infection. This rare condition confers predisposition to illness caused by moderately virulent mycobacterial species, such as Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (BCG) vaccine and environmental non-tuberculous mycobacteria, and by the more virulent Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Other microorganisms rarely cause severe clinical disease in individuals with susceptibility to mycobacterial infections, with the exception of Salmonella which infects less than 50% of these individuals. The pathogenic mechanism underlying MSMD is the impairment of interferon-gamma mediated immunity whose severity determines the clinical outcome. Some patients die of overwhelming mycobacterial disease with lepromatous-like lesions in early childhood, whereas others develop, later in life, disseminated but curable infections with tuberculoid granulomas. MSMD is a genetically heterogeneous disease with autosomal recessive, autosomal dominant or X-linked inheritance. Belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family. Protein type: Receptor, cytokine; Membrane protein, integral. Cellular Component: membrane; endoplasmic reticulum; dendrite; postsynaptic density; plasma membrane; integral to membrane; vesicle. Molecular Function: hematopoietin/interferon-class (D200-domain) cytokine receptor activity; cytokine binding. Biological Process: cytokine and chemokine mediated signaling pathway
