Supplied as lyophilized form in PBS,pH7.4, containing 5% sucrose, 0.01% sarcosyl.
storage stability :
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 degree C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 degree C for 12 months. Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is lessthan 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
tested application :
SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP)

uniprot summary :
APOC2: Component of the very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) fraction in plasma, and is an activator of several triacylglycerol lipases. The association of APOC2 with plasma chylomicrons, VLDL, and HDL is reversible, a function of the secretion and catabolism of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins, and changes rapidly. Defects in APOC2 are the cause of hyperlipoproteinemia type 1B (HLPP1B). It is an autosomal recessive trait characterized by hypertriglyceridemia, xanthomas, and increased risk of pancreatitis and early atherosclerosis. Belongs to the apolipoprotein C2 family. Protein type: Secreted; Secreted, signal peptide. Cellular Component: extracellular space; chylomicron; extracellular region. Molecular Function: protein homodimerization activity; phospholipase binding; lipase inhibitor activity; enzyme activator activity; lipid binding; phospholipase activator activity. Biological Process: positive regulation of fatty acid biosynthetic process; negative regulation of cholesterol transport; cholesterol efflux; lipid transport; phospholipid efflux; transport; lipoprotein transport; negative regulation of catalytic activity; positive regulation of lipoprotein lipase activity; negative regulation of receptor-mediated endocytosis; lipid metabolic process; negative regulation of lipid metabolic process; lipid catabolic process
