form :
Supplied as lyophilized form in 20mM Tris, 150mM NaCl, pH8.0, containing 1mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 0.01% sarcosyl, 5% trehalose, and preservative.
storage stability :
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Store at 2-8 degree C for one month. Aliquot and store at -80 degree C for 12 months. Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is lessthan 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
tested application :
SDS-PAGE, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunoprecipitation (IP) . (May be suitable for use in other assays to be determined by the end user.)

ncbi summary :
zinc-containing metallo-enzyme; involved in degradation of cardiac peptides [RGD, Feb 2006]
uniprot summary :
CD10: Thermolysin-like specificity, but is almost confined on acting on polypeptides of up to 30 amino acids. Biologically important in the destruction of opioid peptides such as Met- and Leu-enkephalins by cleavage of a Gly-Phe bond. Able to cleave angiotensin-1, angiotensin-2 and angiotensin 1-9. Involved in the degradation of atrial natriuretic factor (ANF). Displays UV- inducible elastase activity toward skin preelastic and elastic fibers. Inhibited in a dose dependent manner by opiorphin. Belongs to the peptidase M13 family. Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; EC 3.4.24.11; Protease. Cellular Component: synaptic vesicle; focal adhesion; membrane; axon; dendrite; cytoplasm; plasma membrane; integral to membrane; synapse; brush border. Molecular Function: peptidase activity; zinc ion binding; metalloendopeptidase activity; endopeptidase activity; exopeptidase activity; peptide binding. Biological Process: peptide metabolic process; beta-amyloid metabolic process; creatinine metabolic process; proteolysis; kidney development; sensory perception of pain
