specificity :
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of bradykinin. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between bradykinin and analogues was observed.
storage stability :
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition. To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

products description :
Intended Uses: The kit is a competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique for the in vitro quantitative measurement of bradykinin in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific to bradykinin has been pre-coated onto a microplate. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled bradykinin and unlabeled bradykinin (Standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific to bradykinin. After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of bradykinin in the sample. After addition of the substrate solution, the intensity of color developed is reverse proportional to the concentration of bradykinin in the sample.

uniprot summary :
albumin: Serum albumin, the main protein of plasma, has a good binding capacity for water, Ca(2+), Na(+), K(+), fatty acids, hormones, bilirubin and drugs. Its main function is the regulation of the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood. Major zinc transporter in plasma, typically binds about 80% of all plasma zinc. Protein type: Secreted; Carrier; Secreted, signal peptide. Cellular Component: protein complex; cytoplasm; extracellular region; nucleus. Molecular Function: toxin binding; DNA binding; metal ion binding; chaperone binding; drug binding; oxygen binding; fatty acid binding; pyridoxal phosphate binding. Biological Process: retinal homeostasis; maintenance of mitochondrion localization; transport; hemolysis by symbiont of host red blood cells; cellular response to starvation; negative regulation of apoptosis
