products description :
MyBioSource is a bulk manufacturer of porcine heart Malate Dehydrogenase (MDH) for research, laboratory, life science and manufacturing uses. Custom preparations, technical support, bulk quantities and aliquoting available. Malate Dehydrogenase (MDH) is an enzyme in the citric acid cycle that catalyzes the conversion of malate into oxaloacetate (using NAD+) and vice versa (this is a reversible reaction). It is not to be confused with the malic enzyme, which catalyzes the conversion of pyruvate using NADPH. MDH is used in coupled systems for determination of biological metabolites.
