products description :
Principle of the Assay: Amylase can hydrolyze starch to produce glucose, maltose and dextrin. Under the condition of excess substrate, add iodine solution which will combine with un-hydrolyzed starch to produce blue compound. The content of hydrolyzed starch can be detected by measuring the OD value at 660 nm. And the AMS activity can be calculated indirectly.
