WB: 0.2-2ug/ml. IP: 100-500ug/sample. ICC: 2-100 ug/ml
other info1 :
Preparation: This antibody was purified using protein G column chromatography from culture supernatant of hybridoma cultured in a medium containing bovine IgG-depleted (approximately 95%) fetal bovine serum. Immunogen: Recombinant
other info2 :
Sterility: Filtered through a 0.22 um membrane. Disposal: This antibody solution contains sodium azide (NaN )as a preservative. There is a potential hazard that NaN3 reacts with copper or lead to produce an explosive compound. For safe disposal, the vial has to be washed thoroughly with water.
products description :
DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure, such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of this family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. This gene encodes a DEAD box protein, which is a RNA-dependent ATPase, and also a proliferation-associated nuclear antigen, specifically reacting with the simian virus 40 tumor antigen. This gene consists of 13 exons, and alternatively spliced transcripts containing several intron sequences have been detected, but no isoforms encoded by these transcripts have been identified. uniprot summary :
DDX5: a putative ATP-dependent RNA helicase. A proliferation-associated nuclear antigen, specifically reacting with the simian virus 40 tumor antigen. The rate of ATP hydrolysis is highly stimulated by single-stranded RNA. Belongs to the DEAD box helicase family. DDX5/DDX17 subfamily.
