other info1 :
Samples: Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces and Urine. Assay Type: Sandwich. Detection Range: 3.12ng/ml-100ng/ml. Sensitivity: 1.0ng/ml.
other info2 :
Intended Uses: This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic or diagnostic applications! It is intended to be determinated ZPI concentrations in Human serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Human ZPI antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add ZPI and ZPI antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of ZPI in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean ×100]

ncbi summary :
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the serpin family. It is predominantly expressed in the liver and secreted in plasma. It inhibits the activity of coagulation factors Xa and XIa in the presence of protein Z, calcium and phospholipid. Mutations in this gene are associated with venous thrombosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, May 2010]
uniprot summary :
SERPINA10: Inhibits activity of the coagulation protease factor Xa in the presence of PROZ, calcium and phospholipids. Belongs to the serpin family. Protein type: Secreted; Secreted, signal peptide. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 14q32.13. Cellular Component: extracellular space. Molecular Function: serine-type endopeptidase inhibitor activity; heparin binding. Biological Process: regulation of acrosome reaction; blood coagulation
