Samples: Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces and Urine. Assay Type: Sandwich. Detection Range: 0.5 ng/ml - 16 ng/ml. Sensitivity: 0.1 ng/ml.
other info2 :
Intended Uses: This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic or diagnostic applications! It is intended to be determinated CX3CL1 concentrations in Canine serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Canine CX3CL1 antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add CX3CL1 and CX3CL1 antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of CX3CL1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean ×100]

uniprot summary :
CX3CL1: The soluble form is chemotactic for T-cells and monocytes, but not for neutrophils. The membrane-bound form promotes adhesion of those leukocytes to endothelial cells. May play a role in regulating leukocyte adhesion and migration processes at the endothelium. Binds to CX3CR1. Belongs to the intercrine delta family. Protein type: Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; Membrane protein, integral. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 16q13. Cellular Component: extracellular space; cell surface; extracellular region; plasma membrane; integral to membrane. Molecular Function: protein binding; chemokine activity; receptor binding. Biological Process: neutrophil chemotaxis; positive regulation of transforming growth factor-beta1 production; cytokine and chemokine mediated signaling pathway; leukocyte chemotaxis; defense response; angiogenesis involved in wound healing; chemotaxis; leukocyte adhesive activation; macrophage chemotaxis; positive regulation of angiogenesis; positive regulation of calcium-independent cell-cell adhesion; immune response; cell adhesion; lymphocyte chemotaxis; positive regulation of inflammatory response
