other info1 :
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human PLD2 around the phosphorylation site of tyrosine 169 (E-N-YP-L-N).
other info2 :
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

ncbi summary :
The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphatidylcholine to phosphatidic acid and choline. The activity of the encoded enzyme is enhanced by phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate and ADP-ribosylation factor-1. This protein localizes to the peripheral membrane and may be involved in cytoskeletal organization, cell cycle control, transcriptional regulation, and/or regulated secretion. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Jul 2011]
uniprot summary :
PLD2: a phosphatidylcholine-specific phospholipase D. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of PC to produce phosphatidic acid and choline. Activated as a consequence of agonist stimulation of both tyrosine kinase and G protein-coupled receptors. May function in regulated secretion, cytoskeletal reorganization, transcriptional regulation, and cell cycle control. Enriched in caveolae; may be involved in MEK/ERK signaling cascades induced by the VEGF/VEGFR-2/PKC-delta pathway in endothelial cells. Three alternatively spliced isoforms have been described. Protein type: Motility/polarity/chemotaxis; EC 3.1.4.4; Lipid Metabolism - ether lipid; Lipid Metabolism - glycerophospholipid; Phospholipase. Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 17p13.1. Cellular Component: endoplasmic reticulum membrane; brush border membrane; plasma membrane. Molecular Function: protein binding; phospholipase D activity; phosphoinositide binding. Biological Process: G-protein coupled receptor internalization; phosphatidylglycerol biosynthetic process; small GTPase mediated signal transduction; phospholipid metabolic process; glycerophospholipid biosynthetic process; innate immune response; phosphatidic acid biosynthetic process; cytoskeleton organization and biogenesis; lipid catabolic process
