The LILRA4/ILT-7/CD85g protein is a coreceptor that critically limits the innate immune response during viral infection through FCER1G signaling. It negatively regulates TLR7 and TLR9 signaling and reduces IFNA1, IFNA2, IFNA4, IFNB1, and TNF production in dendritic cells exposed to influenza virus or CpG dinucleotides.
