HN1 protein negatively regulates AKT-mediated GSK3B signaling and induces the phosphorylation and degradation of CTNNB1 at “Ser-33”. This effect inhibits the “Ser-9” phosphorylation of GSK3B, inhibits the activity of APC:CTNNB1:GSK3B complex and blocks its interaction with CDH1.
