In neuroblastoma progression, this protein directly influences the proliferation and migration of neuroblastoma cells, implicating its involvement in tumor dynamics. Additionally, Prokineticin-1/EG-VEGF positively regulates PTGS2 expression and prostaglandin synthesis, suggesting a potential role in inflammatory responses.
