HAI-1 Protein serves as an inhibitor of HGFAC, suppressing serine protease activity of ST14/matriptase in vitro and inhibiting TMPRSS13 through the BPTI/Kunitz inhibitor 1 domain. It interacts with HGFAC and TMPRSS13, with the latter interaction promoting TMPRSS13 phosphorylation and cell membrane localization. HAI-1 Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived HAI-1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His labeled tag.
