ZW10 interactor (ZWINT) is clearly involved in kinetochore function. ZWINT interacts with ZW10, a kinetochore protein, possibly regulating the association between ZW10 and kinetochores. ZWINT is required for kinetochore formation and spindle checkpoint activity and remains detectable on the kinetochore until late anaphase.
