HAI-2 protein is a multifunctional inhibitor that regulates multiple cellular processes by potently inhibiting HGFAC and reducing serine protease activity, specifically TMPRSS13 and ST14/matriptase. HAI-2 is good at inhibiting plasmin, plasma and tissue kallikrein, with broad-spectrum inhibitory capabilities.
