AntibodyName :
LS-C9003
TargetSpecies :
Human
Host Species :
Mouse
Product Name :
MTA1 Antibody (C-Terminus) LS-C9003
Specificity :
Specific for the C-terminal region of the human MTA1 protein. On Western blots, it identifies doublets at ~80kD. A band of unknown origin is observed at ~150kD. Reactivity has been confirmed with human T47D cell lysates and rat testis homogenates by Western blotting, and with formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human breast cancer tissues by immunohistochemistry. Based on amino acid sequence homology, reactivity with mouse is also expected.

ShortWebDescription :
MTA1 antibody LS-C9003 is an unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to human MTA1 (C-Terminus). Validated for ELISA, IHC and WB.
UsageText :
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. ELISA: 1:100-1:1000. Western Blot: 1:30-1:100. Identifies doublets at ~80kD and a band of unknown origin at ~150kD. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:50-1:100. With formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues, heat induced epitope retrieval (HIER) with EDTA, pH 8.0, is required prior to staining. Positive control: Human T47D cell lysates and rat testis homogenates (WB), human breast cancer tissues (IHC).

Since 1995, LifeSpan has been the industry leader in molecular pathology, specializing in the localization of proteins in normal and diseased tissues, both human and non-human. We offer more than 74,000 antibodies, custom designed immunohistochemistry (IHC) studies, immediately available human tissue IHC profiles for more than 500 proteins, and histology and pathology services. Our bank of 2 million specimens is available to support our customers' contract research studies and contains frozen and formalin-fixed (FFPE) normal and diseased tissues. Our contract services are comprehensive; they include study design, antibody sourcing and characterization, tissue sourcing and validation, immunolabeling, trouble shooting, and interpretation of the results by a LifeSpan pathologist.
