ELISA: The monoclonal antibody is useful as a detection or capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA for quantifying human IL-5 protein levels.1-5 Biotinylated antibody should be paired with purified antibody as the capture antibody, with purified recombinant human IL-5 as the standard. Or, conversely, purified antibody may be paired with Biotinylated antibody as the detection antibody. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
