ShortWebDescription :
IL17D antibody LS-C71030 is an unconjugated rat monoclonal antibody to mouse IL17D. Validated for ELISA, Flow and WB.
UsageText :
Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Direct ELISA. Western Blot: This antibody can be used at 1-2 ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse IL-17D. Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit for rmIL-17D is approximately 5 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Use of this antibody under non reducing/reducing conditions is not recommended. Chemiluminescent detection will increase sensitivity by 5 to 50 fold. Flow Cytometry: This antibody was validated for flow cytometry using CD4+ splenic lymphocytes. For intracellular staining to detect IL-17D, cells must first be fixed and permeabilized with 4% paraformaldehyde and 0.1% saponin in PBS. Dilute this antibody to 25 ug/mL and add 10 ul of the diluted solution to 1-5 x 10^5 cells in a total reaction volume not exceeding 200ul. The binding of unlabeled antibodies may be visualized by adding a secondary developing reagent such as goat anti-rat IgG conjugated to a fluorochrome. Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0 ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse IL-17D. The detection limit for rmIL-17D is approximately 1 ng/well.

Since 1995, LifeSpan has been the industry leader in molecular pathology, specializing in the localization of proteins in normal and diseased tissues, both human and non-human. We offer more than 74,000 antibodies, custom designed immunohistochemistry (IHC) studies, immediately available human tissue IHC profiles for more than 500 proteins, and histology and pathology services. Our bank of 2 million specimens is available to support our customers' contract research studies and contains frozen and formalin-fixed (FFPE) normal and diseased tissues. Our contract services are comprehensive; they include study design, antibody sourcing and characterization, tissue sourcing and validation, immunolabeling, trouble shooting, and interpretation of the results by a LifeSpan pathologist.
