Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:100. Immunoreactivity is seen as a staining pattern on the cell body, dendrites and axons of neurons (brown). Immunoprecipitation: 1:200. Immunoprecipitates 68kD active ChAT from brain and placenta. Also precipitates a 27kD protein that is co-expressed with ChAT (but lacking ChAT activity) in some cholinergic neurons of the central nervous system of humans and possibly other mammals. Positive control: Cerebral cortex tissue.
