Recognizes human Cell cycle checkpoint protein RAD17, also known as RAD17 or RF-C/activator 1 homolog. RAD17 is a 681 amino acid ~87 kD cell cycle checkpoint protein required for activation of checkpoint signaling pathways in response to stalled replication forks and DNA damage. Phosphorylation of RAD17 is cell cycle regulated and is required for G1/S checkpoint activation in response to DNA damage. Four potential isoforms of RAD17 may be made by alternative splicing,is expected to recognize all isoforms of human RAD17.
