ShortWebDescription :
BACE antibody LS-C3879 is an unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to human BACE (BACE1). Validated for ELISA, Flow and WB.
UsageText :
Western Blot-This antibody can be used at 1-2 ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human or mouse BACE-1. Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit for rhBACE-1 is approximately 5 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Chemiluminescent detection with Chemiluminescent Detection Substrate will increase sensitivity by 5 to 50 fold. Flow Cytometry-Dilute this antibody to 25 ug/mL and add 10 ul of the diluted solution to 1-2.5 x 10^5 cells in a total reaction volume not exceeding 200ul. The binding of unlabeled monoclonal antibodies may be visualized by adding 10 ul of a 25 ug/mL stock solution of a secondary developing reagent such as goat anti-mouse IgG conjugated to a fluorochrome. Direct ELISA-This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0 ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human or mouse BACE-1 coated on 96-well plates. The detection limit for rhBACE-1 is approximately 1 ng/well.

Since 1995, LifeSpan has been the industry leader in molecular pathology, specializing in the localization of proteins in normal and diseased tissues, both human and non-human. We offer more than 74,000 antibodies, custom designed immunohistochemistry (IHC) studies, immediately available human tissue IHC profiles for more than 500 proteins, and histology and pathology services. Our bank of 2 million specimens is available to support our customers' contract research studies and contains frozen and formalin-fixed (FFPE) normal and diseased tissues. Our contract services are comprehensive; they include study design, antibody sourcing and characterization, tissue sourcing and validation, immunolabeling, trouble shooting, and interpretation of the results by a LifeSpan pathologist.
