ShortWebDescription :
Lactoperoxidase antibody LS-C347465 is a biotin-conjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to bovine Lactoperoxidase (LPO). Validated for DB, ELISA, ICC and IHC.
UsageText :
The reactivity of the antiserum is restricted to lactoperoxidase as tested in immunoelectrophoresis and radial immunodiffusion. Using various antiserum concentrations against fresh bovine milk a single precipitin line is obtained. No precipitation reaction is obtained with normal bovine serum or plasma. In immunocytochemical and immunohistochemical staining to identify and measure lactoperoxidase at the cellular and subcellular level by staining of appropriately treated cell and tissue substrates. As a second step an avidin or streptavidin conjugate of the user's choice has to be used. Working dilutions for histochemical use are usually between 1:100 and 1:250. in ELISA and comparable non-precipitating antibody-binding assays between 1:1000 and 1:5000. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Since 1995, LifeSpan has been the industry leader in molecular pathology, specializing in the localization of proteins in normal and diseased tissues, both human and non-human. We offer more than 74,000 antibodies, custom designed immunohistochemistry (IHC) studies, immediately available human tissue IHC profiles for more than 500 proteins, and histology and pathology services. Our bank of 2 million specimens is available to support our customers' contract research studies and contains frozen and formalin-fixed (FFPE) normal and diseased tissues. Our contract services are comprehensive; they include study design, antibody sourcing and characterization, tissue sourcing and validation, immunolabeling, trouble shooting, and interpretation of the results by a LifeSpan pathologist.
