Product Name :
KRT9 / CK9 / Cytokeratin 9 Antibody (aa450-477) LS-C22746
Specificity :
Recognizes human Cytokeratin 9 (in mouse: some background staining). Antibody represents an excellent marker to study palmoplantar epidermal distribution and differentiation. Specifically reactive in the middle/upper suprabasal layers (stratum spinosum/ granulosum) of the epidermis of palm and sole. No labeling has been found in epithelial cells of other stratified epithelia such as esophagus or complex epithelia (e. g. urothelium) or in ductal or simple epithelia. Negative tissues include: muscle, liver and duodenum.

ShortWebDescription :
Cytokeratin 9 antibody LS-C22746 is an unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to Cytokeratin 9 (KRT9 / CK9) (aa450-477) from human. It is reactive with human and mouse. Validated for IF, IHC and WB.
UsageText :
Suitable for use in Western Blot (Western), Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue, for paraffin-embedded sections, microwave treatment and in some cases protease digestion is recommended). The antibody cocktail is also an excellent new tool to characterize primary cultures of keratinocytes/skin transplants for application in burn treatment. Western Blot: 1:25-1:300 (chemiluminescence, AP/ECL). Immunofluorescence Microscopy: 1:10. Immunohistochemistry: 1:20 (PAP/ABC).
