Immunocytochemistry (acetone-fixed): 1:500. Immunohistochemistry: The epitope recognized by the antibody is resistant to paraffin or formalin-fixed tissue sections. B5, Methacarn, ethanol or Bouin's solution may also be used as fixatives. Immunofluorescence: Staining of chicken gizzard ultra-thin sections labels the dense bodies, longitudinal channels and membranes associated dense-plaque. Positive control: Cultured human or chicken fibroblasts.
