Hamster
Product Name :
ITGAE / CD103 Antibody (clone 2E7) LS-C188546
Specificity :
Recognizes mouse CD103, otherwise known as Integrin alpha-E. CD103 binds Integrin beta 7 to form the heterodimeric integrin molecule aE7. This complex is sometimes referred to as CD103, though strictly speaking CD103 only refers to the alpha chain. The beta 7 subunit can also interact with other integrin alpha chains. The aE7 complex is a receptor for E-cadherin. It mediates adhesion of intra-epithelial T-lymphocytes to epithelial cell monolayers. CD103 is expressed on intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes and is highly expressed on regulatory T cells. Clone 2E7 has been reported to also recognize the aE7 complex.
