UsageText :
Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections only), Immunocytochemistry and Blocking. Immunoprecipitation: Precipitates integrin alpha V beta3 complex. When resolved by SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, bands are observed at ~130kD corresponding to the alpha V subunit and at ~105kD corresponding to the beta3 subunit. Flow Cytometry: 1-3 ug/0.5x1E6cells in 100 ul volume. Immunofluorescence: 5-10 ug/ml for staining of bFGF-treated 6mm cryosections of chick chorioallantoic membrane fixed with acetone. Also effective on 4% paraformaldehyde fixed, frozen tissues and cells. Not effective for immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Blocking: Inhibits adhesion of cells to vitronectin coated surfaces at 10-25 ug/ml. Positive control: Human myeloma cell lines M21 and MoalphaV.
