This antibody is specific for phosphorylated Hsp27 (Ser82) and does not exhibit reactivity with non-phosphorylated Hsp27. Specificity for phospho-Hsp27 was demonstrated in peptide competition studies with phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated peptides.
