ShortWebDescription :
CD64 antibody LS-C140378 is a PE-conjugated mouse monoclonal antibody to human CD64 (FCGR1A ). Validated for Flow.
UsageText :
Blocks immunoglobulin binding to FcR1. May block antibody dependant cell killing with a potential application in autoimmune diesease. Used in the production of bispecific antibodies, and as an indicator of inflammation (FcR1 induced on macrophages by interferon gamma). Specificity: This antibody reacts with a single chain glycoprotein of 75 kD. Its main cellular reactivity is with monocytes (upregulated by interferon gamma). Other reactive cells in flow cytometry include interferon gamma stimulated granulocytes, myelomonocytic leukemias and myeloid cell lines. Some histiocytes are recognized by this antibody in immunohistochemistry. CD64 plays a role in phagocytosis and antibody dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It also participates in cytokine and superoxide release. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Since 1995, LifeSpan has been the industry leader in molecular pathology, specializing in the localization of proteins in normal and diseased tissues, both human and non-human. We offer more than 74,000 antibodies, custom designed immunohistochemistry (IHC) studies, immediately available human tissue IHC profiles for more than 500 proteins, and histology and pathology services. Our bank of 2 million specimens is available to support our customers' contract research studies and contains frozen and formalin-fixed (FFPE) normal and diseased tissues. Our contract services are comprehensive; they include study design, antibody sourcing and characterization, tissue sourcing and validation, immunolabeling, trouble shooting, and interpretation of the results by a LifeSpan pathologist.
