SELE / CD62E / E-selectin Antibody (Biotin) LS-C13900
Specificity :
Reacts with the Lectin Domain of E-selectin, CD62-e, formerly designated Endothelial Leucocyte Adhesion Molecule-1 (ELAM-1). Reacts with human endothelial cells activated with TNF, IL-1 or endotoxin. Found to react also with cells transfected with the ELAM-1 gene. Inhibits the adhesion of granulocytes both neutrophilic and eosinophilic.

ShortWebDescription :
E-selectin antibody LS-C13900 is a biotin-conjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to E-selectin (SELE / CD62E) from human. It is reactive with human and monkey. Validated for IHC and WB.
UsageText :
Can be used for immunoassays and Western Blot. Furthermore the antibody is useful for Immunohistochemically staining of E-selectin in frozen tissue sections. The antibody is useful for staining of chimpanzee, rhesus monkey, cynomolgus monkey and baboon tissues. Immunohistology: 1:10. Western Blot: 1:10. For selection of the most useful dilution in a given situation a test staining with cells or tissue known to express the antigen should be performed. To this end a small fresh skin biopsy can be incubated for 4 hours with TNF-alpha (1 ng/ml), IL-1 (100U/ml) or LPS (1 ug/ml) in tissue culture medium at 37?C. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
