Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot: 1-2 ug/ml detection limit for rhBrevican is ~10 ng/lane under non-reducing conditions. Immunoprecipitation: 25 ug/ml. Blocking of receptor-ligand interaction: ~0.01 to 0.05 ug/ml of this antibody will block 50% of the binding of 1 ug/ml of Hyaluronan (132kD) to immobilized rhBrevican (100 ul of a 3 ug/mL solution was coated in each well) in a functional ELISA. At 1 ug/ml, this antibody will achieve 100% blocking in the assay.
